Ljubač, a village with love in its name
A handful of stone houses, olive groves and a long bay, half an hour north of Zadar, looking at the island of Pag and the peaks of Velebit.
Why “Ljubač”?
The name sounds like “ljubav”, Croatian for love, and locals will happily tell you that is no accident. You will see little hearts everywhere on this site, and you will probably leave one here too.
Home of the Templars
From the 12th century Ljubač was a stronghold of the Knights Templar. Their fortress, Castrum Liube, sat on the hill above the bay and watched over the bay. Today its walls are a free, windy, wonderful place to watch the sunset.

Find your way around
Fly into Zadar airport (about 40 minutes by car) or drive the A1 motorway to the Posedarje exit. The last stretch to the camps is a gravel road, so a higher car is a good idea. We also offer transfers.
